Igate has 3 rounds written test+technical+hr
1. Written test round comprises of 3 sections: Quant+reasoning+English
For Quant:
Solve R.S. Agrawal thts sufficient, just know the basic funda of solving questions cover sections like boats and streams, time and work,Problems on age,Time and distance,etc.
Logical reasoning:
Coding and decoding, Mirror image, Blood relations sorry i don't recollect all the topics, but i will sujjest u that u have a look on all the topics once from R.S. Agarwal logical reasoning book.
Aptitude and English sections are combined together in 1 section, and the other section is English.
English:
In English there were 2 passages, and from them u have to find the answers.These sections u should prepare:
Comprehension, Antonyms, Synonyms, Error detection, Sentence Completion and Para jumbles.
I don't recollect the exact questions.
Questions are simple but you just have to manage your time 60 mins 50 questions and cut off was 45+ i guess and out of 200-250 only 35 could clear it.
And there is no negative marking so try to attempt all the questions.
2. Next round is technical, questions were on my project, operating system and the languages mentioned on your resume.
For project, prepare one project nicely, but there is also possibility that she may ask you any project, whatever you have mentioned on your resume is imp.
3. The last round is the HR round, and questions were tell me about yourself, do you have any offers, like that.
Basically those who cleared written cleared the technical and HR round, they basically check your communication in these rounds. And then document verification that's it.
