Questions pattern for CGI

Written Round:

1st round is written test on aptitude and English , there were  25 questions that need to be attempted in 30 min, somewhat difficult manage the time well.

Sample Questions:

a) A train running at the speed of 60 km/hr crosses a pole in 9 seconds. What is the length of the train?
b) puzzle- six person, six profession, six instruments (each person plays a single instrument).... very    easily this puzzled can be solved..- 5 questions.

English is bit tough..

One paragraph will be given.. 4 sentences will be missing within the paragraph. Options r given below.. u need to put the correct sentence on correct place..
Rest of the English questions: each questions has separate paragraph.. So this part is very time consuming..

Technique to follow while attempting written round :

1st solve two puzzles then Quant part.. and then at the end go for English.. it will be helpful in managing ..

‪Group Discussion Round:

This round is not so tough be confident, they will select you,  out of 10 candidate they choose 7-8.. so no need to get nervous.

Sample topics: 

1. Corruption in India
2. Social networking
3. Electronic media vs news paper
4. Traffic in Bangalore


Technical Rounds:

Basically there are two technical Rounds, In which First Technical Round is Most Important , Second will be bit OK type.

Technical Round 1

This round is most important round, You have  to face 30-50 question(avg), Prepare well on your project which you done in your college, most of the question asked in this round will be from project and some technical question will be asked.. so answer confidently all question..

Technical Round 2

If you reach to this round then your chances for getting selected are about 95%, most of the time this round is non-rejection round, some tough technical question will be asked try to answer them properly, Mostly this round will be taken by managers, so be careful when u r answering as they are also checking for team skills, problem solving apart from technical skills.

HR Round

This is simple formal round , HR team will ask some simple question to check your communication skills and some behavioral skills

Family background.
