Important News for 2015 Batch...Must Read Don't Miss

Hello 2015 batch Members,

There will be lot of hiring in Bangalore for 2015 batch, so you guys don’t lose your hope. When you guys came to Bangalore for searching, 2014 batch candidates were searching for jobs with you. So its not like that there will be less openings for 2015 batch, you guys will have same opportunities as 2016 batch.

Job-2015-batch
Job-2015-batch

Mostly all IT companies consider BTECH/BE, MCA passed out candidates as a fresher for 2 Years. So all 2015 batch candidates will be considered as a fresher till June 2017.
I would like to suggest u please be in touch with MRA, keep check MRA 2-3 times in a day and if u find any link to apply u can apply there, or if someone is posting like this he/she got call for diff companies then you can directly visit company career site, u can apply there.

Try for all technology:
I would like to suggest you, try to search job for all technology like java , testing , dot net, Android ,SAP, Mainframe etc. Please don’t have such kind of attitude like you have done this technology interview so u will go for this technology interview.
I have seen lot of people who have moved to their dream technology after getting job in different technology. So try to search for all technology jobs

Try for medium and startup companies also:
As we all know in small companies we get lot of chances to learn the technology because in small companies we have to do lot of works. And when a employee switch from small company to big MNC then he/she get a good package. But remember in small company your roll will be core development not kind of support job, if it is development then only join it.

About your Resume:
Mention all the technical skills in ur resume that u r going to upload in Fresher world/Nauakri.com portal. Whenever a technical recruiter or HR see your resume they check first thing in your resume technical skill in your for which they are hiring. If the technical skill will not be in ur resume then they will give u call for interview, let the call letter come then we can prepare it accordingly (as we are BTech/MCA passed out, we all know how to prepare)

Technical Skills Like :

Language : C, C++ , CORE JAVA, J2EE, JQuery, CSS, HTML5,
JAVA SCRIPT, ASP.NET, C#, Android, IOS.
Data Base : SQL Server 2005, Oracle 10g, PL/SQL,
Testing : Manual Testing , Selenium , ETL Testing, Automation
And try to add all these technical skills in ur Naukari.com/Fresher world portal, daily update ur profile before 12:00 PM.

Try To Attend Walk in/Call based interview:
Call based Mean: it mean company called selected candidates for the interview. But its not like that they can’t allowed other candidates who did not get call letter, if crowd is less then they can allow or they can allow those candidates who reach early at interview location.
Walk in: its Open to All, no call letter is required for the interview ,you simply go and attend it.
Try to attend more walk in/call based interview, if interview is call based and if they allow to attend interview then good otherwise u can submit your resume to HR and request to HR for interview call.

About Interview Process:
If we talk about any company interview process, you will find in all company interview process are mostly same.
1st round : it can include written test may be offline or online. In written test they can ask aptitude, logical, Quant, English questions. If technical questions are in written test then it can be from C or SQl or core java only. if you have given 5-6 written round of the companies then u have noticed this thing questions type or same questions are repeating. So if you are unable to solve questions in the interview, try to solve these questions at your home.
You can refer indiabix.com site to prepare these kind of questions.

Technical Round: Mostly in IT companies technical round can be either 2 or 3 minimum 2 rounds of technical or maximum .Mostly Technical questions is from
C, SQL, Core Java, and Data structure if the interview is for development (Java)
C, SQL, Dot net, and Data structure if the interview is for development (dot net )
SQL, Manual testing, Basics of core java if interview is for Testing profile.
If you will to these technical skills then u will find, every company ask only selected questions from technology.
If you are going any company technical interview, then prepare minimum 10 points about the company

*********************************************************
A small story which I have shared earlier, can motivate u

Ek river k kinare 2 bade stones aaps m bat kr rhe the ….
1st stone: bhai chalna khi ghum k aate , river ke shahar kr k aate h …
2nd stone: nhi bhai tu chala ja mujhe nhi jana h ….
1st stone : are chal na yar ….
2nd stone :bola na nhi jaunga …..

1st stone , apne frnd(2nd stone) ko bye bol k river ke shahar ko nikal jata h river m kafi bade stones hone k wajah se wo 1st stone ghish ghish k bahut small rah jata h or wo small stone bapas apne frnd k pas aa jata h . kuch samay k bad kuch log river k kinare aate h or dono hi stones ko le jate . 1st stone jo k ghishane k karan small rah gya tha ,to us stone ko small hone k karan shivling(symbol of lord shiva) bana kar us 1stone ko temple k under rakhte h or 2nd stone jo k kafi bda tha usko temple k bahar seediyon(stairs) m use kr lete h . diff itna h k ek ne mehant ke to wo aaj temple k under h or jise log pujate h , or 2nd stone jisne mehanat nhi ke thi wo aaj temple k bahar h or jis pe log pair rakhte h.

c)English Comprehension(2 passages)
d)Verbal reasoning
e)Non- verbal reasoning
f)Quantitative apt(focus on partnership,profit & loss,problems on numbers)
Note:The online test has both sectional and over all cutoff,so be careful while answering and manage the time well. The result would be immediately displayed on your monitor screen as you submit the test and below you will have a link for the online essay writing.
2nd round-Online essay within 10 minutes (The topics were quite different for everybody..mine was-Does Safe driving course is essential for the youngsters to reduce the accidents, what do you think?).After submitting the essay, they will take 10 minutes to declare the result.
3rd round-Technical interview(study well about your projects and they asked me about my contribution in the project and questions related to that-mainly they will ask from your resume-I had around 1hr of tech int.)
Final round-HR(very friendly one,he will focus on clear communication, not the accent and style, the confidence and the way you would be adaptable to any environment). At HR itself if you are selected they would take 2 set of photocopies of your documents with photos and would inform you through their coordinators that you are selected.(they will mail the joining letter).
******************************
1) Online English and Aptitude
2) Online Essay
3) Technical Interview and
4) HR Interview.
1. ONLINE ENGLISH AND APTITUDE TEST: This is one of the main rounds in the process. Maximum elimination happens over here (out of around 200 students who sat only 49 cleared it).
Total questions: 130
No. of sections: 7 (3 Eng, 1 Quants, 3 Verbal/Reasoning)
Questions/sections: Eng 1 - 25, Eng 2 - 35, Eng Comprehension - 10, Quants - 15 , Verbal - 35 , Verbal Paragraph - 5 , Verbal figures - 5
Marking: +1 for correct answer. No negative marking so don't leave any questions. Go for option C when you don't know an answer, it's a trick that helps.
Total Time - 80 mins.
ONLINE ESSAY WRITING: This is another elimination round, but it's less compared to the previous. You have to write an essay on the topic given in 200 words (1000 characters, do bring that count to 0) in 10 mins. They actually want to know how quickly can you think about a topic, grammar knowledge and typing speed too. Once its done you have to submit it and then wait for the result. Topic can be anything like 'Social Networking', 'Father or Mother - who is a better parent?'. My topic was 'End justifies Means - your view'.
Out of 49, 46 cleared the round. Those who couldn't was due to unfinished essay.
3. TECHNICAL INTERVIEW: This is the MOST important round. If this goes well, you will be quite sure of your chances. There was two persons in the panel. One asked me programming languages. I told C, so he asked many questions. Mostly basic and conceptual questions. Few elementary programming like swapping, palindrome no., Armstrong no., etc. If you don't know anything, just say 'NO', don't try to fool them, you will be in great problem. Another person asked me from my own domain i.e. ECE. Basics of electronics. Then my previous projects and the final year project. Then he asked me my favourite subject from ECE. Tell the one you are actually confident; you can answer even the difficult questions partially. It will take anything from 20 to 40 minutes time.

 4. Programming skills

We have to complete a prog in 30 min

3)Technical cum HR round

It is very simple HR asked me to 1. describe your self -I told and some simple HR question
*******************************
the selection procedure of mindtree is as follows:
1- written test
2- gd
3- technical interview
4- hr interview

1- written test:
there were only two question in written test. first was to write an essay and second was to write a program. topic of essay was," how does computers have affected human life", and the program was a sort of calender program. two dates were given and we have to find number of days between these two dates.

2- gd:
gd round was quite easy and anybody having average english speaking skills can easily clear this round. the topic for me was, " tata nano: good or bad". keep one thing in mind, always speak either in favour or against, never switch from one side to other side.

3- Technical Interview:

Technical interview was also quite easy. be thoroughly prepared with your project.

* He asked me to explain my project and also said to write some queries then i said my favourite sub is c++ and oops .

* Then he asked me ques from there like encapsulation, data hiding, interitance and multiple inheritance, call by value and call by reference etc.

Always be confident in whatever u say. data structure is also important.

4- HR interview:

HR interview was little bit tricky but it was not a big hurdle. i am from bhopal so he asked me about bhopal like ....
* how many lakes are there?
* What is the name of biggest lake?
* Hhow can you estimate amount of water in that lake, etc.
* Then one ques was that if you have to kill someone in India or just elimate from our country who will be that person and why?
* Then he asked if you wanna be like someone in india who will be that person. and what about in world.
* Then my hobby was listening songs so he asked to tell name of any music director of 90s and songs of them, then he asked me to tell songs of my fvrt female singer. and so on...

for hr interview be cool and confident. there is very small probability of getting eliminated from hr round..

It is an online test conducted by cocubes consists of 75 question in 90 minutes time limit which consists three parts, 25 question english, 25 question in aptitude &25 question logical reasoning, There is sectional cutoff for each section along with negative marking for each wrong answer.
Capgemini Logical reasoning analysis
I think logical reasoning Part is very easy and aptitude section and english also quiet simple can be prepared within 1 week from an online test different websites
practice much more than sufficient.
Capgemini Verbal ability-English Language
For English you have to be good in general english. No preparation or barrons book is required if you are good at english. If you are not done read newspapers , story books to improve your English. passages were there but not difficult.
Concentration required when you read the passages. Few tough question . just leave them. your aim is to clear the cut off.
I finished english in 20 mins and i have attend 22 question out of 25. It was very easy.
Capgemini Reasoning section
Then reasoning (70% ques very easy )
Again very easy to clear the cut off. Leave tough question. no need to do all. Did in 20 mins and same as english I have attend 22 question out of 25.
Capgemini Quantitative aptitude tests
Quant - quant (60% ques EASY 30 % MEDIUM 10% DIFFICULT ).
Mostly Question on time and work, Speed distance, number system, Basic Geometry, Probability, P&C and basic maths.IT has lower cutoff as compare other section and i have attend 18 question out of 25.
After 1 hour they announced the Written Result and there is big mass elimination only out of 500 hundred 95 cleared the written test.
Luckily , I cleared my Written part and fortunately i am second topmost in my group.
I think from my observation sectional cutoff for each section (english 12 logical reasoning 12 aptitude 10)
Capgemini Second Round GD Group discussion

Directions for Questions 16 to 20: The passage given below is followed by a set of five questions. Choose the most appropriate answer to each question.
To summarize the Classic Maya collapse, we can tentatively identify five strands. I acknowledge, however, that Maya archaeologists still disagree vigorously among themselvesin part, because the different strands evidently varied in importance among different parts of the Maya realm; because detailed archaeological studies are available for only some Maya sites; and because it remains puzzling why most of the Maya heartland remained nearly empty of population and failed to recover after the collapse and after re-growth of forests.
With those caveats, it appears to me that one strand consisted of population growth outstripping available resources: a dilemma similar to the one foreseen by Thomas Malthus in 1798 and being played out today in Rwanda (Chapter 10), Haiti (Chapter 11), and elsewhere. As the archaeologist David Webster succinctly puts it, Too many farmers grew too many crops on too much of the landscape. Compounding that mismatch between population and resources was the second strand: the effects of deforestation and hillside erosion, which caused a decrease in the amount of useable farmland at a time when more rather than less farmland was needed, and possibly exacerbated by an anthropogenic drought resulting from deforestation, by soil nutrient depletion and other soil problems, and by the struggle to prevent bracken ferns from overrunning the fields.
The third strand consisted of increased fighting, as more and more people fought over fewer resources. Maya warfare, already endemic, peaked just before the collapse. That is not surprising when one reflects that at least 5,000,000 people, perhaps many more, were crammed into an area smaller than the state of Colorado (104,000 square miles). That warfare would have decreased further the amount of land available for agriculture, by creating no-mans lands between principalities where it was now unsafe to farm. Bringing matters to a head was the strand of climate change. The drought at the time of the Classic collapse was not the first drought that the Maya had lived through, but it was the most severe. At the time of previous droughts, there were still uninhabited parts of the Maya landscape, and people at a site affected by drought could save themselves by moving to another site. However, by the time of the Classic collapse the landscape was now full, there was no useful unoccupied land in the vicinity on which to begin anew, and the whole population could not be accommodated in the few areas that continued to have reliable water supplies.
As our fifth strand, we have to wonder why the kings and nobles failed to recognize and solve these seemingly obvious problems undermining their society. Their attention was evidently focused on their short-term concerns of enriching themselves, waging wars, erecting monuments, competing with each other, and extracting enough food from the peasants to support all those activities. Like most leaders throughout human history, the Maya kings and nobles did not heed long-term problems, insofar as they perceived them. We shall return to this theme in Chapter 14.
Finally, while we still have some other past societies to consider in this book before we switch our attention to the modern world, we must already be struck by some parallels between the Maya and the past societies discussed in Chapters 2-4. As on Easter Island, Mangareva, and among the Anasazi, Maya environmental and population problems led to increasing warfare and civil strife. As on Easter Island and at Chaco Canyon, Maya peak population numbers were followed swiftly by political and social collapse. Paralleling the eventual extension of agriculture from Easter Islands coastal lowlands to its uplands, and from the Mimbres floodplain to the hills, Copans inhabitants also expanded from the floodplain to the more fragile hill slopes, leaving them with a larger population to feed when the agricultural boom in the hills went bust. Like Easter Island chiefs erecting ever larger statues, eventually crowned by pukao, and like Anasazi elite treating themselves to necklaces of 2,000 turquoise beads, Maya kings sought to outdo each other with more and more impressive temples, covered with thicker and thicker plaster reminiscent in turn of the extravagant conspicuous consumption by modern American CEOs. The passivity of Easter chiefs and Maya kings in the face of the real big threats to their societies completes our list of disquieting parallels.
