· As a Senior Developer – ATG, you will translate client requirements into technical designs, design repositories/schemas, implement ATG extensions, design and create product catalog hierarchy and integrate with content management systems and search engines, unlocking the business value of ATG.
· Mastery of J2EE specifically JSP, Servlet, MVC Pattern, Eclipse and ANT.
· Good understanding of object oriented programming, relational databases.
· Expert understanding of ATG foundational concepts, Commerce, and experience & knowledge of form handlers, Droplets, ATG repositories, Servlet pipelines, content administration, personalization and scenario development, Order, Checkout, Pricing & Promotions.
· Good understanding of integration patterns with a Portal, Search, Content management package or other platforms.
EXPERIENCE
· Overall experience of 4 to 8 years with 2-3 years of ecommerce experience working with one or more commerce packages.
· 24 months of ATG Commerce experience in the last 3 years

· Design, plan and implement IT solutions for a Websphere Commerce environment.
· Strong, hands-on experience with Websphere Commerce Server (WCS) & Java J2ee development.
· Should have understanding in one or more technologies, including but not limited to Java and J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB), Good XML and XSLT, Struts and command framework, JavaScript (AJAX), Webservice (RESTFUL and SOAP).
· Should have understanding of WebSphere Application Server, Web Sphere Commerce Administration and development using RAD.
· Proficient in UML and abstracts detail into larger (repeatable) patterns, familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques.
· Should have understanding of WCS Integration with Taxware, Payment providers, shipping, ERP, and SAP providers.
· Should have understanding of at least one of these areas - promotion, content spots or espots.
Business Knowledge: Ecommerce domain experience would be a plus.
EXPERIENCE
· 4 to 8 years of total/relevant IT experience and 1 to 2 years of minimum professional experience with WCS technologies.
